1. Data controller
The data controller for the Next app is:
BurmCorp Labs UG (haftungsbeschränkt)

Germany
Represented by: Nils Torben Burmeister

2. Overview
Next is a local focus-queue app for Apple platforms. This policy explains what data the app processes, for what purpose, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO).
Next is designed to keep your tasks on your devices. We do not operate a Next cloud account, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. What Next stores on your device
Task titles, optional notes, optional duration estimates, optional tags/time labels, completion history, and app settings (theme, layout, widget preferences, hold duration, and similar options) are stored locally on your device (including via the App Group used by widgets).
The same data may be mirrored to the Apple Watch companion through Apple's WatchConnectivity framework so the queue stays in sync across your devices. That transfer stays between your devices; BurmCorp does not receive it.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the contract / provision of the app you requested) and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in running a functional local app).
4. No tracking, ads, or social plugins
Next does not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, crash-reporting services that send personal data to BurmCorp, or social media plugins. We do not build advertising profiles from your queue.
5. No Next account server
BurmCorp does not run a Next backend that receives your tasks. Widgets and Watch use Apple system mechanisms on your hardware.
If you contact us by email (for example at legal@burmcorp.com), the data you send in that message is processed as described in our general company privacy policy for communications.
6. Retention and deletion
Data remains on your device until you delete tasks, change settings, or remove the app. Uninstalling Next removes the app's local data subject to Apple's normal backup and restore behaviour.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights regarding data we hold (for example support emails), contact legal@burmcorp.com.
Data that exists only on your device is under your control: view or delete tasks in the app, or delete the app. We cannot remotely access or delete your on-device queue.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for our company is:
Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit
